Rates

How much do my services cost?

No two jobs are ever the same. My rates are determined by the word count or document size, complexity and turnaround time you require. All rates are based on guidance from the Professional Editors Guild.

I would be delighted to provide you with a quote – all I would need from you is the following information:

• The title or subject area of your manuscript,
• Approximate final word count or number of pages,
• Any style guide or target journal that applies,
• Deadline for completion.

Ideally, please forward me 3-4 pages of the document to be edited.

It really helps if you could contact me a few weeks before your required deadline, but I realise life does not always work like that. If you have a last-minute project for a looming academic deadline, I will do my best to assist you.

Before I start your editing work, I require a 50% deposit. On completion, a certificate of editing can also be provided, if required.
